At our popup markets, we've had a lot of requests for owl houses!  Now you can order our first ever owl house for your own backyard!  This recovered wood owl house is easy to install and clean out inbetween nestings. 
 
It features a removable threaded scratching post that can be mounted outside as a stand. Just make sure there are no other animal threats around before attaching.
 
 The bottom board of the owl house cuts off at the four corners, and the side board of the house cuts off at the two corners, leaving a gap to ensure that the owl box is ventilated and protected from rain and moisture. The outer wood is put through a "charring" or carbonizing process to offer better wear through each season. Also included is a bag of wood shavings to encourage owls to build a fresh nest.
 
The box measures 8" x 8" x 13", which is designed to house most small to medium-sized owls under 9 to 11 inches. Installation and hanging takes less than 10 minutes. With two large screws included, you can mount the owl house in a tree or on the side of a structure about 10 to 20 feet off the ground - an optimal height and location for attracting owls.
