We discovered this new Austin, Texas apiary brand on Facebook and we were excited to try it!  Well, this raw and unfiltered Texas honey from Buda, TX (just outside Austin), is pure magic! 

Meet Keepers Harvest Honey,  they're a small-run honey producer which focuses on specific crops like Cotton and Tallow Trees for example, to give a unique and specific flavor and set of nutrition to each hand-poured jar.

Honey derived from Tallow Tree blooms is a darker amber in color and has a richer, caramel, and light cinnamon taste with a hint of earthiness.  Delicious on morning toast, pancakes, and oatmeal.
